Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Do you offer delivery?

A. Yes, we can arrange for delivery from Boise to Idaho Falls and even into Utah. Just message us to inquire about delivery timing and fees.

Q: What payment options do you accept?

A: We accept cash, check, and Venmo. We also take credit cards with a 3% processing fee.

Q: Are your cattle grass-fed?

A: No. We feed a diet that promotes maximum growth, marbling, flavor, and tenderness. Our cattle are fed a diet consisting of corn, corn silage, hay, whey, and vitamins and minerals.

Q: Are your cattle hormone and antibiotic free?

A: At the time of harvest none of our cattle will have any antibiotics or synthetic hormone treatments. We do use antibiotics as needed to help our cattle recover from certain illnesses. During some growth stages, our cattle do receive a growth implant that helps them increase their feed conversion efficiency. This practice helps improve our use of resources.

Q: How much freezer space do I need?

A: A good rule of thumb is that 50 pounds of beef requires 1.5 cubic feet of space.

Q: What breeds of cattle do you have?

A: We have Angus, Charolais, Montbeliarde, and Holstein cattle. We cross the Angus and Charolais sires onto our Montbeliarde and Holstein cows. Beef breeds crossed with dairy breeds are very popular and grade very well for carcass quality.
